The Enabling State is a piece of work being undertaken by the Carnegie UK Trust which explores where we can successfully give citizens and communities more control over their own wellbeing and the public services that they receive and how the state, third sector and others can play a more engaged and responsive, enabling  role.

With your help, our aim over the next few months is to shift the debate about greater control from rhetoric to reality by highlighting and showcasing real life examples of an enabling approach in practice. So have a look around and join us on the journey!
